tag:everyoneisanartist.blog.co.uk,2009-11-07:/"artist" has become such a loaded term. maybe it always has been, i don't know... But when i say "everyone is an artist" i relate both to the famous Joseph Beuys quote and the boldfaced rants of the tabloids. (The "I could have done that" school of art criticism). Sometimes I really do connect to the idea that the terms artist and art are both relative and subjective. And sometimes I feel as if the term artist is bandied about far too freely.
